Privacy notice
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This notice explains what personal information Mighty Horizon Ltd holds, why we hold it and what you can do about it. It covers business contacts we approach, people who get in touch with us and visitors to this website.
Who we are
Mighty Horizon Ltd is the data controller for the information described here. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17061496. Our registered office is 208 Canal Side, Beeston, Nottingham, NG9 1LX.
For anything about your information, email sam@mightyhorizon.co.uk.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration number ZC192387.
What information we hold
For people we contact about our services, we hold work details only:
- name and job title
- the company you work for and its business address
- your work email address and work phone number, where these are published
- notes on why we contacted you, such as a job advert your company published or an event it exhibited at
- a record of what we sent and any replies
For people who email us or book a call, we hold your name, email address and what you wrote to us, plus the time of any call you book.
We do not knowingly hold personal email addresses, and we do not collect sensitive information.
Where we get it from
When you did not give us your details yourself, we collect them from public business sources. These include Companies House, trade association member directories, trade show exhibitor lists, job adverts, company websites and LinkedIn.
Why we hold it, and our lawful basis
We use your details to contact you about marketing services that may be relevant to your business, to reply when you contact us and to keep a record of our conversations.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests. We have a legitimate interest in telling businesses about services that are relevant to them. We keep the contact proportionate. We approach businesses where there is a clear reason to think our work is relevant, we only use work details, and you can ask us to stop at any time. We have written down our assessment of this balance and you can ask to see it.
We only send marketing emails to limited companies and limited liability partnerships. We do not email sole traders or partnerships without their consent.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We use a small number of service providers to run our business, and they handle your information only on our instructions:
- HubSpot, where we keep our contact records and run our call booking page
- Google Workspace, for email
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, it is protected by safeguards approved under UK law, such as the UK-US data bridge or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
If we have had no reply from you within 12 months of first contact, we delete your details.
If you ask us not to contact you again, we keep your name and email address on a do-not-contact list so we can make sure we respect that. We keep that list for as long as we contact businesses.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct it or delete it
- ask us to limit how we use it
- object to us using it, including the right to tell us to stop contacting you for marketing at any time
Every marketing email we send includes a way to opt out. You can also email sam@mightyhorizon.co.uk. We reply within one month.
We do not make decisions about you by automated means.
